Panasonic System Networks Co. of America (Secaucus, NJ) is announcing its Lite-ray POS Workstation has been installed in Mobi Munch mobile restaurant’s LudoBites truck. The workstation facilitates the mobile food truck’s culinary aspirations – to bring innovative cuisine directly to the public while allowing the chefs to focus on the food.
The Lite-ray’s small footprint consumes little counterspace in the truck, and its resistive-touchscreen capability can accommodate users wearing gloves. The open platform accommodates most POS software application. The workstation can withstand spills, static, dust, dirt, shock, grease, extreme temperatures and humidity, the company states. Features include a 15-in. dual backlight and a high resolution/high contrast, anti-glare LCD screen.
